Nice, David. I did leave a comment with Carl of my disappoinment of not including Perth ... And there it is. I'd like details ASAP because I have hoops to jump through to get there. Cheers, Kevin.
I'm eager to read your book. Two questions I'm looking to answer: How do your recommendations relate to those in The Writing Revolution and how do you address the writing of children who are just learning to read (or do you?). I do find that dealing with nine different sentence types can be super helpful.
1. There are a lot of gaps that need filling. 2) As someone who’s taught K-12 students, I am concerned that the goal of perfecting the sentence has been applied to beginning writers and, in fact, goes against recommendations by researchers like Steve Graham.
Game changing!
This is an absolute game changer- had the privilege of working with @David Didau and @Rikki Cole - my students get a better deal as a result
Pre-ordered!
Order placed - very excited 👏

I wish you were coming to Brisbane!
I hope to return to Autralia later in the year to visit Adelaide and Brisbane. Do you have any contacts that could help organise an event?
Looks great! What grade level or age range is this book intended to teach writing to?
It’s aimed specifically at 11-16 year olds

1. I think we fill a number of gaps
2. that’s beyond the scope of the book. We’re mainly concerned with secondary school students

Is the price for the hardcover really intended to be about 10x the price of the paperback? Also, will you offer a Kindle version?
The paperback will be about £16.99. There will be a kindle version.
